Raksha Bandhan rituals should not be done during  Bhadra . Bhadra is malicious time which should be avoided for all auspicious work. Most Hindu religious texts, including  Vratraj , advise to avoid Bhadra time to tie Rakhi during Raksha Bandhan festival. So advise time is after 1-50 p.m.

వరలక్ష్మి వ్రతం కథ  ఒకనాడు పరమేశ్వరుడు కైలాస గిరియందు సకల మునిగణ సంసేవితుడైయున్న సమయంబున పార్వతీ దేవి వినయంబుగా, "ప్రాణేశ్వరా! స్త్రీలు సకలైశ్వర్యములు కలిగియుండుటకు ఆచరించదగిన వ్రతమేదియో సెలవీయు"డని కోరెను. అంతట పరమేశ్వవరుడు, "దేవీ! వరలక్ష్మి వ్రతమనునది స్త్రీలకు సౌభాగ్యమొసగును. దానిని శ్రావణమాసమందు పౌర్ణమికు ముందు వచ్చు శుక్లపక్ష శుక్రవారము నాడు చేయవలెను" అనెను. అది విని యామె, "స్వామీ! ఆవ్రతం ఎలా ఆచరించవలెనో సెలవీ"య వేడెను. మరియు, "ఆ వ్రతాన్ని మునుపు ఎవరాచరించి తరించారో తెలుపగోరెద" ననెను. అంతట పరమేశ్వరుడు "ఓ పడతీ! ఆ వ్రతకధను చెప్పెదను వినుము" అని కధ చెప్పెను. పూర్వము మగధ రాజ్యమున కుండిన నగరమను నొక పురము గలదు. అది బహుసుందరమయిన పట్టణము. అందు చారుమతి యను ఒక సాధ్వి కలదు. ఆమె సద్గుణములకు మెచ్చి ఆదిలక్ష్మి ఆమె స్వప్నమున ప్రత్యక్షమై ఆమెతో, "చారుమతీ! నీసధ్గుణములకు నేను మెచ్చితిని నీకు కావలయు వరములనొసగు తలంపు నాకు కలిగెను. కావున నీవు శ్రావణ పౌర్ణమి ముందు వచ్చు శుక్రవారమునాడు వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతము చేయుము. అప్పుడు నీవు కోరిన కోరికలను దీర్చె

Varalakshmi Pooja  is an important pooja performed by many women in the states of Andra and Tamilnadu. This year Varalakshmi Viratham is on 28th Aug 2015. Worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on Varalakshmi Vrata day is equivalent to worshipping Ashtalaksmi  – the eight goddesses of Wealth, Earth, Learning, Love, Fame, Peace, Pleasure, and Strength.

Varalakshmi Vratam , Sravana Sukravaralu (Fridays of the month) and Sravana Mangalavaralu (Tuesdays of the month) are specially important for the married women.  Lakshmi Devi  is worshiped on Fridays and Gowri Devi is specially worshiped by the married women on four Tuesdays of Sravana Masam. Married women perform Sravana Mangala Gowri vratam for a happy and prosperous marital life and for the welfare of their husband.

Nag Panchami is a traditional worship of serpent Gods observed by Hindus throughout India on 19-8-2015. Women worship Nag Devta and offer milk to snakes on this day.

The Ashtakshara mantra — Om Namo Narayanaya — is simple to utter, but potent in power. All the Azhvars have stressed the importance of the name ‘Narayana.Astakshari Mantra Homam on 18-8-2015 Tuesday at Laxmi Narayana Teple, Near anjali Cinema theatre, Secunderabad. Poornahuthi at 5-30 p.m.

అష్టాక్షరి మంత్రం జపం 16 తారీకు నుండి 18 వ తేది వరకు ఉదయం 8 గంటలనుండి సాయంత్రం 8 గంటల వరకు శ్రీ లక్ష్మి నారాయణ దేవస్తానము, అంజలి టాకీస్ దగ్గర, జనరల్ బజార్, సికిందరాబాద్ నందు జరుగు చున్నది. అందరు వచ్చి స్వామీ ఆశీర్వాదములు తీసుకోవలసిందిగా ప్రార్థన. 

                       OM  NAMO  NARAYANAAYA If initiation is taken then after chanting the Guru Parampara, ashta:kshari manthra may be chanted. There is no swara or specific way to chant it. Chant it in a normal way, not too fast nor too slow. If possible try to recollect the meaning of the manthram. That given a lot of benifit than just repeating like a parrot. You can just start it after taking Sri: pa:da thi:rtham.

  ఈ  శ్రావణ మాసములో నాగ పంచమి, గరుడ పంచమి, మంగళ గౌరి వ్రతం,  వరలక్ష్మి వ్రతం , జంధ్యాల పౌర్ణమి పండుగలు ముక్యమయినవి. ఈ మసములో ఎవరయితే ఇంటి ముందు ఊడ్చి, కళ్ళాపి చల్లి గుమ్మాలకు, గడపలకు పసుపు, కుంకుమలతో అలంకరిస్తారో, ఇంటిని ఎవరయితే పరిశుబ్రముగా ఉంచుకొంటారో, నిత్య ధూప దీప నాయివేద్యములతో అమ్మవారిని ఎవరయితే ఆర్చిస్తారో, ఎవరయితే ఇంటికి వచ్చిన ముత్తయిదువులను లక్ష్మి స్వరూపముగా భావించి , వారిని పసుపు కుంకుమలు తదితర మంగళ ద్రవ్యాలు ఇచ్చి ఆదరిస్తారో, వారి ఇంట లక్ష్మి కల కాలం కాపురం ఉంటుంది.
