Varuthini Ekadashi falls in the month of Vaisakh dated:1-6-2016 . It is also known as 'Vaishakh Krishna Ekadashi.' It is believed that whosoever observes a complete fast on this sacred day has his sins completely removed, obtains continuous happiness, and achieves all good fortune. Giving the daughter away as a daan on her wedding (kanyadaan) is termed as the most absolute daan a person can give to anyone in this world. However this varuthini ekadashi vrat gives a person similar fruits to a hundred kanyadaan.

భీమ రథి మనిషి జీవితములో 77 వ ఏట, ఏడవ నెల, ఏడవ రాత్రిని భీమ రథి అంటారు. ఇది చాలా అపాయకరమయినదని ఒక విశ్వాసం ఉంది. యముడు చూసి వెళతాదని, కనుక అపాయకరమని అంటారు. ఈ అపాయం తొలగడానికి వైదిక కర్మకాండ కూడా కొంతమంది చేయించుకుంటారు

1. అరటి - కదళీ 2.మామిడి.- ఆమ్రం/రసాలం/చూతఫలం. 3.జామ - బీజాపూరం  4.దానిమ్మ - దాడిమీ  5.ద్రాక్ష - నిర్బీజం  6.పనస - పనసః  7.సంత్రా - నారంగ  8.నేరేడు - జంబూ 9.కొబ్బరికాయ - నారికేళం 10.నిమ్మకాయ - మాతులుంగం 11.ఆపిల్ - సేవం/ సీమ ఫలం/ కాశ్మీర ఫలం. 12. సీతాఫలం - సీతాఫలం / బహుబీజ ఫలం. 13.రేగు పండ్లు - బదరీఫలం. 14. వెలగ పండు - కపిత్థఫలం. 15.చెరుకు - ఇక్షు.

వివాహ ఆలస్యము -- రత్నధారణ సాధారణంగా కొంతమందికి అన్ని శుభములు ఉన్నను వివాహము ఆలస్యమగుటకు కొన్ని దోషములుజాతకమున ఉండును. అట్టి దోష నివారణకు, గ్రహదోష నివారణకు పూజలు జపము, శాంతులు మె. శాస్త్రమున చెప్పియున్నారు. జాతకము పరిసీలించి, దోషము కనుగొని, దానికి నివారణకు రత్నధారణ కూడా చాలా ఉపయోగకారి. ఇది ఉంగరమున ధరించిన ఆదోషము తొలగి త్వరలో వివాహమైన సంఘటనలు నా అనుభవమున చాలా చూచితిని. సప్తమాదిపతిగాని శుక్రుడు గాని, కుటుంబాధిపతి గాని, షష్ఠ, అష్టమ, వ్యయస్థానములలో ఉన్న జాతకునకు వివాహము ఆలస్యమగును. అందుకొరకు, కళత్రకారకుడైన, శుక్రునికి సంభంధించిన రత్నము వజ్రమును మద్య వేలుకు ధరించిన, వివాహము త్వరగా అగును.
